UN Trust Fund’s 27th Grant Cycle Open for Applications

The UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund) is excited to announce the opening of its 27th grant cycle. We invite civil society organizations with a proven track record in combating violence against women and girls to submit project concepts aimed at ending violence against marginalized women and girls. Emphasis will be placed on applications from women’s rights, women-led, constituent-led, and small organizations, with priority given to these initiatives. Partnerships with smaller, local, and grassroots women’s and girls’ rights organizations are also encouraged, with the opportunity for up to four implementing partners.

Key Information:

  • Grant Range: USD 150,000 to USD 1,000,000 for four-year grants.
  • Special Funding Modality: Dedicated small grants funding between $150,000 – $250,000 for additional core funding to support smaller, local organizations.

Funding Windows:

  1. General Window: Addressing violence against marginalized women and girls experiencing intersecting forms of discrimination.
  2. Special Window: Addressing violence against women and girls affected by crises.

Multi-Country Proposals:

  • Consideration for proposals spanning up to 10 countries, demonstrating an impact beyond the national level.

Application Period:

  • Open from December 10, 2023, to February 1, 2024 (2:00 pm New York time, EST).
  • Applications must be submitted through the Grants Management System.
