No, the Matinée Multilingual Scholarship is not live right now.
Key Details & Status
- Status: Inactive / Discontinued
- Background: Launched around 2016 by Matinée Multilingual (a UK-based voice-over, translation, and subtitling agency) as the Matinée Voice-over Scholarship, offering a $1,000 award for students who submitted an essay on multi-language communication and localization.
- Application Link Status: The original application page on their official website (
matinee.co.uk/matinee-voice-over-scholarship/) has been removed, and the agency no longer accepts submissions or operates the scholarship program. - Caution for Applicants: While several external scholarship aggregator directories still show old listings for this award, those pages reflect expired application cycles (which ended in 2016–2017).
