About the Fellowship Program: Established in 2016, the Leadership in Government Fellowships Program aims to support individuals who have recently left public service after playing a significant role in advancing social change within the United States government. This includes leaders at the city, county, tribal, state, and federal levels.
Who We’re Looking For: Ideal candidates are public servants who have completed their government service within the last two years, especially those who served in a chief executive or senior management role. We encourage applicants from all political backgrounds who can challenge conventional thinking about social change.
Fellowship Details:
- Stipend: Fellows will receive a stipend ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 based on the percentage of time committed to their projects.
- Project Duration: Projects can be either 12 or 18 months long.
Qualities We Seek: Successful applicants will:
- Have a keen interest in reflecting on their government service.
- Be passionate about solving problems and implementing policy.
- Desire to advance ideas beyond their former jurisdictions.
