The Bartlett Development Planning Unit (DPU) is proud to announce the a commitment to fostering collaborations with colleagues on the African continent. Recognizing financial barriers, particularly for those in Sub-Saharan Africa, these scholarships aim to make education more accessible.
Key Details
- Origin: The scholarships are powered by The Bartlett Promise Scholarship and funded by The Bartlett Development Planning Unit.
- Number of Scholarships: Two scholarships are available for the 2024-25 academic year.
- Value: The scholarships cover full overseas tuition fees, provide an annual allowance of £16,008 for living and study expenses throughout the program at UCL, a flight to/from the UK, UK Study Visa costs, English language assessment costs, health test costs, and the NHS Immigration Health Supplement charge. Recipients will also receive ongoing academic and career support.
Eligibility
- Eligible Programs: Available for any master’s courses at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit.
- Eligibility Criteria: Open to nationals and domiciled individuals in Sub-Saharan African countries.
- Selection Criteria: Assessment based on educational, personal, and financial circumstances.
Application
To be eligible for The DPU70 Scholarships, applicants must first secure an offer of a place on a master’s course at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit. The application period for scholarships opens after receiving the admission letter.
- Apply to a master’s course at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit: From October 16, 2023.
- Receive an admission letter for a master’s course at The Bartlett Development Planning Unit: From December 2023.
- Apply for a DPU70 scholarship: February 15 to April 3, 2024.
📅 Applications for the DPU70 Scholarships will open on 15 February 2024. In the meantime, make sure you submit your application to study for a master’s degree at the DPU by April 3, 2024.
