Join the YDC Executive Team: Are you driven and ready to amplify the voices of Canadian youth? YDC is recruiting members for our all-youth, all-volunteer executive team. We’re dedicated to empowering youth, creating opportunities, and building networks. Check back in winter 2024 for executive opportunities.
What is a YDC Delegation?
Every year, YDC provides opportunities for youth to represent Canada at international meetings. Delegates engage with global leaders and activists, gaining valuable skills and insights. Delegations attend events like the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, HLPF, Youth 7 Summit, and more.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek youth aged 18-30, passionate about representing young Canadians globally. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Key skills include leadership, teamwork, a background related to summit themes, and strong communication skills. English proficiency is a must, and knowledge of French is an asset for specific events.
Recruitment Process: Stay tuned for the 2024 calendar. The last recruitment cycle (2023) took place from October to November, lasting approximately six weeks.
