If you hold a master’s or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or engineering, and You are willing to drive HPC to new limits, You are welcome to apply for a prestigious scholarship.
In addition to a bountiful €2,200 monthly allowance for a maximum of 36 months towards funding your PhD adventure, this international scholarship provides a unique experience to drive your research and career in High-Performance Computing. You’ll directly collaborate with globally recognised researchers on path-breaking projects that set new standards in the field. You’ll learn the latest HPC concepts and techniques through excellence in training and workshops by world leaders. In addition to this, an exclusive six-month research stay at another NHR Center will enhance your academic exposure, while extensive opportunities for networking will link you with a dynamic group of fellow students and professionals.

For further professional development, you’ll also be provided with useful soft skills workshops, career guidance, and mentorship schemes. While you’re on secondment, your NHR host centre usually arranges your accommodation, travel, and living expenses. If there are particular living requirements, these can be negotiated on an individual basis. But where your host is an affiliated research group and not an NHR centre, they need not pay for these. In these situations, your sending NHR centre and the host group will agree on the financial arrangements.
